iPad 2 Event on March 2nd (Confirmed)

It’s official: Apple has just started sending out invitations to the press for a media event to unveil the much awaited iPad 2.
The event will be held at the famous Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

The invite, above, clearly shows an iPad which is conveniently covering the area where a camera would be. Also, that background makes me think of retina even if I know better. And showing the Maps app? Perhaps it is time for Apple to reveal what they are doing with PlaceBase.
