Five New Userland Exploits Found For iPad 2 And iPhone 5, Next Jailbreak On The Horizon

And here is the biggest news of the week The popular iPhone hacker, P0sixninja, has announced that they discovered five userland exploits for both the iPad 2 and iPhone 5.

The news comes from P0sixninja talk at jailbreaking convention MyGreatFest. P0sixninja looked ecstatic when he gave the announcement a few minutes ago, in which it was stated that iPad 2 and the iPhone 5 can be jailbroken using five userland exploits which have been discovered over time.

What is even more fantastic about this news is how all of these exploits are userland ones. And as quoted by P0sixninja himself “it’s the record breaking number of exploits found”.

In case you don’t know, userland jailbreaks are related to software. In other words you can jailbreak the firmware directly from your iOS device and Apple can patch these exploits in next firmware releases. The hardware-based exploits are those which like Limera1n exploit found by Geohot which jailbreaks your device forever.

Stay tuned as we will keep you updated as soon as we get more info about this!
